Busy Busy Busy

Whew, a busy few weeks! After my thrilling “Night of Inspiration” solo show, I performed in another sensory-friendly concert – this time, collaborating with the Boulder Philharmonic Brass Quintet. Along with emceeing, I sang two songs with my ukulele. Here I am afterwards, talking with audience members.

Brett Saunders of KBCO radio fame and I were co-emcees at the annual gala for the Autism Society of Boulder County—a fabulous evening at the fancy St. Julien Hotel with great wines, food, dancing, fundraising games… I feel so lucky, having such an opportunity…

The Jewish community has become very active in the inclusion movement, making February their focus month! I had the privilege of speaking at two synagogues: B’nai Havurah in Denver and Har Hashem in Boulder. I’m so thrilled to be part of the growing push for inclusion.

And finally, mom and I were special guests at the Jewish Film Festival opening night. Being screened was“Keep the Change,” a romantic comedy about two people with autism who develop a love-relationship—and this film’s main actors indeed have autism! I loved seeing that. Lots of relationship issues came up, which interested me since dating has been greatly on my mind lately…
